Body Sculpting
Reshape and regain your original body figure. Remove small fat pockets/bulges/cellulite from any body part without surgery.
Over time, a person develops bulges in the body that do not respond to diet or exercise. Area may not be so large as to undergo liposuction. At White Ink, we customize a treatment to get rid of unsightly lumps and bumps. Lipodissolve uses a specific formulation created by Dr. Tejas Ramani to reduce your fat & cellulite. This targets spot reduction in double chins, abdomen, love handles, saddle bags, thighs, buttocks, upper arms…etc. It is not a surgical procedure and anesthesia is not needed. This is a simple, outpatient procedure, with minimal recovery time.
The treatment is customized to each patient depending on their body type. The procedure is performed using a thin needle Solution is injected just below the skin into the fatty layer of the skin in the area that is to be reduced. The procedure has been described as “mildly uncomfortable” by many patients. The procedure involves performing multiple small pricks to treat the entire targeted area..Depending on the amount of solution injected we recommend spacing the treatments 4 – 8 weeks apart. It takes between 3 – 5 sessions to achieve the full results. Over 80% of patients are satisfied with the results after 3 - 4 treatments. The results depend on your body type and the condition being treated. On average, patients notice an improvement in 2 sessions. In some cases results are seen after the first session itself.
The wish to look good and have a great body is increasing making liposuction the most common aesthetic procedure performed worldwide and in India as well. This has also happened due to expected outcomes and the increased safety associated with this procedure.
Certain fat deposits are very resistant as compared to others. This is especially so in designated fat stores – abdomen, hips and thighs for a woman (pear shape) while for a man it is chest and abdomen (apple). Even if one loses weight, the body proportion may not change significantly in these areas and the bulges continue to be bothersome. Liposuction permanently removes fat cells from these areas and the body is sculpted back into shape.
Fat accumulation happens due to an unbridled life style, dietary indiscretion or both. Women who have gone through childbirth also find themselves in such a situation due to difficulty in losing weight.
The commonly treated areas are – abdomen, hips, thighs, love handles, saddle bags, inner thighs, buttocks, upper and lower back and the arms. The under chin area and the jaw line are commonly addressed on the face. The amount of fat removed will depend on the areas addressed and the volume of fat deposited.
The most important thing for the permanency of the results is a change in lifestyle so as to have a calorie restricted diet and increased activity.
Most liposuctions at our centre are performed by a procedure called Tumescent Liposuction. This technique of liposuction is performed under local anestheisa and has become very simple and safe compared to older methods
The word “tumescent” means swollen and firm. In the tumescent technique, tiny access points (2-3 mm) are made in natural creases or within bikini line through which the dilute anaesthetic solution is infiltrated into the fat beneath the skin, causing the targeted area to become tumescent. The fat is then aspirated using a fine canula by smooth controlled movements. The local anesthetic lidocaine in the tumescent solution provides such complete local anesthesia, that it eliminates the need for general anesthesia, or IV sedation. The drug epinephrine (adrenalin) provides profound localized vasoconstriction that it virtually eliminates surgical bleeding during tumescent liposuction. Because local anesthesia persists for many hours there is no need for narcotic pain medications after surgery.
A custom made pressure garment/corset (made of Lycra and cotton) will be put on immediately after the surgery. The garment is to be worn for a month after surgery
Post surgery sequels include swelling, bruising and bearable discomfort. These are temporary and should disappear over a few weeks. You can return to work in 3-4 days and can start heavy physical activity in 4 weeks.
Complications are unusual following liposuction. Seroma, pigmentation, minor irregularities, temporary loss of sensation, blood clots and skin ulcerations have been reported.
You will see a noticeable difference in the shape of your body quite soon after surgery. However, improvement will become even more apparent after about four to six weeks. After about three months, the full results and the final contour will be visible.
If your expectations are realistic, you will probably be very pleased with the results of your surgery. You may find that you are more comfortable in a wide variety of clothes and more at ease with your body. And, by eating a healthy diet and getting regular exercise, you can help to maintain your new shape.

Breast Enlargement / Augmentation
Full looking breasts which seemed a mirage before is now a reality, thanks to the advances in science. This procedure makes the woman feel more complete. It is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures performed today. It is a simple procedure which takes 1 -2 hours and one can return home the same evening or the next day. The results are instantly visible and you can resume daily activities in a short period.
US FDA approved silicon cohesive gel implants are now used all over the world and are now available in different shapes and sizes. Breast implants have been proven to be safe and does not affect functions of the breast. Even breast feeding can be done normally later.
Silicone breast implants are available in the round (most commonly used) as well as the anatomic or 'teardrop' shape. These are also available as low, moderate and high profile. They now have cohesive gel in it which does not leak even if there is a puncture. They have now been approved by the US FDA and are extensively used all over the world.
A clinical examination is performed after the initial consultation to assess the breast architecture including size, symmetry, proportion to rest of the body and any other anomalies.
The size of the implant chosen to be used will depend on factors lik -
Your expectation/desire
The size of your chest
Volume of breast tissue that you already have
Skin envelope of the breast
Any droop of the breast tissue specially seen after breast feeding
The two most common approaches for breast enlargement are-
Infra mammary- The incision is made below the breast in the breast crease and is usually 5-7 cms. Long. This is the most hidden portion of the breast and most women prefer to have the access from this area.
The circum areolar approach-the cut is at the edge of the areola in the lower or upper half. This is used in ladies who do not plan any more pregnancies as part of the milk apparatus is injured after this incision.
The less used approaches in the Indian set up are the Trans axillary approach which employs an incision in the crease in the under arm area
Post Breast Implants Surgery
In the immediate post operative period minor discomfort, feeling of stretch, swelling and bruising can be expected. Most patients are able to start normal daily activities starting the next day and return to office work in 2-3 days' time. Decreased sensation over the breast can occur and usually recovers in a couple of weeks.
Complications are rare following breast augmentation. Serous fluid or blood, sensory changes, infection, implant mal position are the early complications that are very infrequent.
Capsular contracture can occur as a late complication. Body forms a fibrous capsule around the implant, which can thicken and distort the implant in some cases
We recommend you to wear a postoperative bra, compression bandage, or jog bra for extra support and positioning while healing. Most women are able to return to work within a few days. It’s best to avoid any strenuous activities for a couple of weeks.
Breast reduction is a surgical procedure to reduce the breast volume so as to achieve a smaller aesthetically shaped breast mound along with relief of all problems associated with a large breast.
Psychological issues and personal embarrassment associated with the looks are the key reasons for people look for this surgery.
Shoulder pain and backache caused by very large breasts is a primary indication for this surgery. Physical and sexual embarrassment and infections below the breast are also indications for surgery.
Other indications include discomfort in the breast during exercise, not able to find fitting clothes and grooving of shoulder by bra straps. The primary aim of this surgery is to reposition, reduce and reshape the breasts. Breast reduction can be carried out at any age after breast development
The surgery is done under general anaesthesia takes about 3-4 hours to complete depending on the volume of breast to be reduced and the amount of skin sagging to be corrected
There would be supportive dressing on the breasts. Tubes are placed to drain body fluids which are removed when the drainage is significantly less in about 48 hours. There is no pain but only a tight feeling on the chest. Light work and joining back to office is possible within 7-10 days but heavy physical exertion is to be avoided for 6 weeks. You must wear a full cotton sports bra for 6 weeks after which all other types of bra are allowed. Driving a car, gym activity or fondling of the breasts is not recommended for 6-8 weeks.
Minor complications which are addressed easily and do not alter the final result are delayed wound healing, fat necrosis and serous collections in the breast. Decreased sensation on the nipple areola or other parts of the breast and pigmentation changes do occur following breast reduction and that improves with time. Mild breast asymmetry can occur, which is usually not very striking.
Breasts lose their firmness and shape with age, usually following pregnancy due breast feeding and also due to weight loss; volume loss and loss of skin elasticity will cause the breasts to droop. The nipple and areola also droop and look downwards. Mastopexy is the procedure to reshape as well as reposition the breasts in its youthful state.
The type of breast lift surgery depends on the breast volume, the amount of breast sag and the quantum of loose skin.
Minimal sag of the breast with loss of volume (psuedoptosis) and normal nipple position can be addressed by an implant and removal of excess skin around the areola. This will leave minimal scars which are hidden.
Moderate to severe droop of the breast would need reposition of the breast tissue, nipple areola complex and removal of the excess skin.
Severe ptosis of breast tissue with excess skin in the breast extensions can only be addressed by removing the excess skin. This leaves a scar which should fade with time.
The breast would be well padded and have tube drains which would be left in place for 24-48 hours. The stitches will be covered by gauze with antibiotic cream. Antibiotic and pain killer is advised for about 7-10 days. Lifting hands above the head and strenuous exercise is not allowed for about 3 weeks. Fondling of the breast is allowed only after 6 weeks.
The scar will be visible for a few months and will either be pink or dark. This will fade with time but will not be totally invisible. An increase or decrease in sensation of the nipple for a few months is normal and this improves with time as swelling of the breast reduces.
Over a period of time, either due to ageing, heredity or certain medical conditions, the eye lid start drooping due to saggy skin. Some start getting bags around the eye. All these can be corrected by eye lid surgery or blepharoplasty. Upper and lower eye lid both can be corrected. This surgery repairs droopy eyelids by removing the loose excess skin and fat. Most patient seeking surgery wants a rejuvenated appearance that require re establishing the normal architecture of the eyes that was present when they were younger. Some also have restricted vision because of droopy lids.
The surgery can be done under local or general anesthesia and the incision is made in the natural crease of the lid. The excess skin is removed and the fat excised or relocated and the incision closed by sutures. This leaves a very thin scar in the area which fades over time. Bulging fat from lower lid without excess skin is treated by a transconjunctival blepharoplasty (Scar less and stitch less).
Ice application over eyes keeps bruising and swelling down . Local antibiotic cream and eye drops are to be used. . Elevate the head of the bed. Avoid strenuous activities for first 7 -10 days The sutures are removed in 5-7 days time.
Due to scar contraction, rarely there is pulling of lid downwards called ectropion.
Healing is a gradual process, and your scars may remain slightly pink for six months or more after surgery. Eventually, though, they'll fade to a thin, nearly invisible white line. A fresher and more youthful appearance of the eyes with reduced bags and pouches is the norm. The positive results of your eyelid surgery-the more alert and youthful look-will last for years
This is good for mild loosening of the skin. Here very fine, specially designed threads are inserted below the skin. They are harmless absorbable threads which are not visible or even felt. They due to their inherent property give lifting to the face. It is a very simple procedure lasting only few minutes and leaves no trace of treatment...! One may need multiple sittings
This is excellent and long lasting treatment for people with moderate loosening of skin. It a minor surgical procedure where very tiny puncture is made in the skin and a special thread is passed through it. By this thread we pull up all the loose skin and tie it by a special process below the skin. This procedure gives instant and dramatic results. The client can go back home in couple of hour with a new decades younger look...!
This is a surgical treatment done under general anaesthesia. It is reserved for severe cases. It too gives a very dramatic and long lasting results.
